Aaron, Bryan Cranston and some 30 or so members of the crew got tattoos on the last day of filming. According to Aaron, when remembering the act during an interview soon after filming ended, those who decided to get a tattoo in honour of the show managed to get the choices down to two options.
During the episode “Half Measures” there was a speech where Mike tells Walter “no more half measures” when they are discussing the problem Jesse is creating, that was chosen as one tattoo option, the other was a more simple Br Ba design, after the shows logo.
Aaron Paul can certainly relate to the ‘No More Half Measures’ speech, as it appeared in the episode that won him his first Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor. When the time came, our idol naturally decided on the phrase ‘No Half Measures’ to be tattooed on his arm. (Bryan Cranston went with Br Ba to be inscribed onto his finger).

In an AP interview he explained:
Yeah it’s right here. It says No Half Measures. Its a line that Mike says in Season three, was it? Or season four, an episode called Half Measures. So me and about a group of about twenty crew members got this, and Bryan got the BR BA with about fifteen crew members. It was a tough day.
On the final day of shooting I happen to be working with Bryan in a scene from an earlier season that they’d been waiting to film at the end. So on the final day I was walking around, saying this is terrible, this is horrible, sad and pathetic and I said we should all get matching tattoos at the end of the day but I didn’t know what we were going to get, we spit balled ideas and came up with either No Half Measures or the BR BA, it was great.

Aaron Paul also has a second tattoo, a lesser known one that is on his ring finger. Our idol tattooed his wife Lauren Paul’s electrocardiogram, her heartbeat.

I have one tattoo right here, can you see it? (show’s hand to camera). It’s my wifes heartbeat. We got our EKGs, our heartbeats printed out, and she has a peice of mine and I have a piece of hers. We got that a month into dating.
